With this Maken Ki! anime and comparison ends. This is was my first time watching it and I really enjoyed, it wasn’t like what everyone said, that it was boring and so on. It’s true it didn’t follow the manga story-wise, but it still wasn’t bad.

For volume 4, it barely has any uncensored stuff but in return it has tons of redrawn scenes. As for the episodes, I didn’t enjoy it that much; no wonder everyone start hating it after vol 3. For the mini OVA, because many people were complaining about slow loading because of too many images in one post, I’m going to link the slide show for the OVA screen shots instead of posting them.

This OVA was bundled with Maken Ki! vol 8 limited edition of the manga. The episode is set around the time they went to the training camp. This episode is full of famservice so you’ll probably like it. As a bonus, you don’t really need to know the anime to enjoy this episode, so it’s all good.
Surprisingly this volume didn’t have a lot of censoring. It has some redrawn scenes which it missed in the TV version. And finally, the long awaited training with a DFC is the best.
