Today is a wonderful day since it marks our first ever anniversary, we are happy that we have been a great help to our fans. Helping find new and great anime that the fans like and helping them choose which version is right for them.
By a stroke of good luck it seems I got accepted into my university’s Study Abroad Program in Japan. I’ll be traveling around Japan for three weeks visiting three different cities: Tokyo, Toyohashi, Kyoto. Needless to say, I’m excited as hell for the perhaps once-in-a-lifetime chance to visit this awesome place.
I’m planning on buying a new camera to take shots and film many of my encounters over in Japan. I’m also going to see if I can somehow get the chance to have a nice chat with some anime-connected folks over there. And as an anime fan, I’m really really looking forward to visit that one place that all otakus dream of going to: Akihabara.
However reality can be harsh, since I have to find a way to earn $4,400 in order to fully pay for the trip. In addition to working part-time as a translator, I’m currently contacting several companies to see if they would be interested in funding a portion of the costs. If you guys would like to help out by donating a little, it would definitely be much appreciated.
If I manage to somehow fully fund this trip, stay tuned for my nearly daily blog posts on it come this summer. For this rare opportunity, I’ll be sure to make the best of it by coming in contact with as many folks as possible.
The trip is from May 20 through June 8.
If you can and like to help me, please send it to my paypal account: romeyo007 at hotmail dot com or click on the donation box on the right slide.
Thank you very much
Total amount of Donation: $701
Thanks to all who support me financially and by commenting, without you guys, I wouldn’t be able to fulfill my dream. I will keep you guys updated on this blog. Until then, see you all and have a wonderful summer break, since I’m sure I will.
Hello. This is Romeyo007, the owner of this business. I’ve decided to take this business more seriously and expand the services and add more items and features. So I’m looking for suggestions and feedback from the people who’ve used this site and bought stuff from here. Please take into consideration that I’m a college student with a limited budget. The main focus is going to be around anime, manga, games, and other otaku stuff, including adult items. For the person with the best suggestion, I am giving away a double-faced A3 poster:
or 2 of the double A4 double faced poster
Thank you all for your patience!

Update: If you want to see how we do the comparison READ THIS
So now that we’ve been up and running for a few months… how are we doing?
What do you like and dislike about the site?
(We already know it’s more of a comparison site than an actual review site)
We welcome any and all constructive criticism to help us make this a better site for you to visit.
So according to the poll, approx. 86% of you either wanted to keep Cbox or didn’t care either way.
We decided to keep it (obviously) and it has a new name “Kira-Chat” to better reflect the growing family of Kira sites.
To go along with the new name, there is a new link to the Full-Screen version of Cbox so make sure to update your Bookmarks if you’re one of the folk who ignore all our hard work by skipping the sites entirely and going directly to chat.
